Diego Aguilar obtained a B.Sc. degree in Geophysics from the National Autonomous University of Mexico. He has worked in the private sector in the area of applied geophysics. Currently he is registered in the M.Sc. program at the same university in the area of Marine Geophysics.
Matthew Beren obtained his undergraduate degree in Earth and Environmental Sciences at Susquehanna University in 2014. At present his is pursuing a Master’s degree in Hydrology from the College of Engineering and Science at Clemson University.
Aaron Booterbaugh obtained his undergraduate degree in Earth and Environmental Sciences at Susquehanna University in 2012. He is pursuing a Master’s degree in Geophysics from the department of Geoscience at the University of Calgary faculty of Science and working at WorleyParsons as a Geophysical Specialist.
René E. Chavez obtained a B.Sc. degree in Physics from the National Autonomous University of Mexico. He then entered the postgraduate program at the University of Toronto, where he received M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in geophysics. He worked for PEMEX (Mexican Oil Company) in the Exploration Department in the southern region of Mexico. Currently he is a full-time Senior Professor at the Institute of Geophysics (UNAM) in the Geomagnetism and Exploration Department. He is a member of the Mexican Academy of Sciences.
Gerardo Cifuentes obtained B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Geophysics from the National Autonomous University of Mexico. He has lectured in Advanced Mathematics and Applied Geophysics at the Faculty of Engineering (UNAM). Mr. Cifuentes has also been in charge of the Geomagnetic Observatory settled at Teoloyucan City.
