Zafer Akçığ received his Ph.D. in geophysics from Dokuz Eylül University (1983) and his B.Sc. (1976) and M.S. (1972) degrees in geophysical engineering from the İstanbul University Faculty of Science, Turkey. His primary research interests include potential fields, archaegeophysics, engineering geophysics and engineering seismology. He is also director of Earthquake Research and Application Center of Dokuz Eylül University.
Zhiguo An received his bachelor degree in Applied Geophysics from China University of Geosciences in Beijing (2000), Masters degree in Geophysical Exploration and Information Technology from China University of Geosciences in Beijing (2005), and Ph.D. in Solid Geophysics from Institute of Geology and Geophysics, CAS (2008). He currently is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institute of Geology and Geophysics, CAS. His research interests include electromagnetic data processing and applications, high-density resistivity method, and CSAMT/MT/TDEM techniques.
