Bruce W. Bevan operates the exploration firm, Geosight, and applies most types of geophysical instruments. He tries to measure the geophysical parameters of archaeological features by the analysis of at-surface surveys and by tests in excavations and bored holes. He has a Ph.D. in geology and an M.S. in electrical engineering. He is a member of the EEGS, SEG, and IEEE, along with several archaeological organizations.
⇑Carlos Calderón-Macías received a B.S. (1990) in engineering geophysics from the National Autonomous University of México (UNAM) and a Ph.D. (1997) from the University of Texas at Austin in geophysics. He held a postdoctoral position at Mobil Technology from 1997 to 1999, and then worked as a researcher at the Mexican Institute of Petroleum until 2006. He joined Ion-GX Technology in 2006. His research interests include multicomponent seismology, seismic modeling and inversion.
