Brian Barrett was awarded a B.Sc. degree from the Department of Geology and Geophysics, Adelaide University, Australia, with First Class Honours in Geophysics in 2001. In 2003, his research into a geophysical monitoring system for saline water intrusion into Australia's Murray River earned him an M.Sc. degree in Geophysics from the same department. He commenced a Ph.D. in Glacial Geophysics at Leeds University, U.K. in 2003 and is currently working towards completing this degree.
Robert Bingham is a Radar Geophysicist and Glaciologist with the British Antarctic Survey, to which he was appointed in 2006. He gained his Ph.D. in glaciology from the University of Glasgow in 2003, and thereafter joined the U.K. Natural Environment Research Council's Centre for Polar Observation and Modelling (CPOM). Within CPOM, Robert worked in the Bristol Glaciology Centre, University of Bristol, as a specialist in the interpretation of airborne radar data collected over ice sheets. His additional research interests encompass polar glaciology, the investigation of englacial and subglacial environments, and glacier dynamics and hydrology.
Adam Booth obtained a B.Sc. in Geophysical Sciences in 2002 and an M.Sc. in Exploration Geophysics in 2003, both from the Univeristy of Leeds. He worked for a year as a hydrocarbon geophysicist before beginning a Ph.D. at the University of Leeds, researching improved GPR acquisition and processing methods for archeological application. Adam aims to complete this project by September 2007, and intends to seek post-doctoral positions to further his academic career.
